Center for Electric Vehicle and Intelligent Transport Systems

The Center for Electric Vehicle and Intelligent Transport Systems (CEVITS) is supported by a diverse and highly skilled team of 23 faculty members from various departments at IIT Indore, including Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Humanities, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering & Material Science, Physics, and Chemistry. These experts bring a wealth of knowledge and interdisciplinary perspectives to our program, ensuring a comprehensive and cutting-edge educational experience.

Our faculty members are deeply involved in both teaching and research within the broad field of Electric Vehicles (EVs). They are actively engaged in pioneering projects that drive innovation in E-Mobility and intelligent transport systems. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, they are also available to guide sponsored PhD candidates in various specialized areas under the PhD program in EVs, contributing to the advancement of research and development in this critical sector.
